Nice overview course of how to keep a small flock of chickens in Alberta. It was also helpful to have items and resources referenced that are locally available.

It was a wonderful intro to chickens course. It took away any questions I had and has given me the confidence to dive into having my own little flock.

Great course! It provided a lot of information and would highly recommend. I’m in the Greenshields 4-H club and having been doing a poultry project for a few years and I find there’s not a lot of clinics/workshops for poultry so it was great to attend something.

Honestly this was the most informative chicken course I have taken. I really wish this was mandatory for anyone urban or rural to take before purchasing chicks or chickens. I would like to see the course advertised at peavey mart, on their website and newsletter as well. I shared it with many groups on social media to help get the word out.
